Pillar from Temple of Confucious - Game Ready Prop

Hello everyone, my name is Tu Nguyen.
The primary goal of this project was to improve my prop creation skills. In the past, I often felt uncomfortable working on high-detail props because I was focused on completing full environments quickly. This mindset left little room for refinement. Recently, I made a conscious decision to scale down and focus on one aspect of environment art, specifically props. That shift has allowed me to take my time, identify weaknesses, and steadily improve, from sculpting to texturing.
One of my biggest takeaways from this project is learning to be more open about my flaws and actively seek feedback. By simply asking questions, I will be able to avoid tunnel vision and, at the same time, receive valuable feedback to improve my work.
I’m especially grateful to the members of Game Art Alliance, Dinusty Empire, The Club, Polygon, and The Rookies for their support and encouragement. Shoutout to all of them, I wouldn’t have grown this much without your guidance.
